Our Lacecham has been missed so we brought it back but made it better, and more hipster-y. Which is a style of underwear, btw, not an ode to one who follows the latest trends and fashions. Removing the inseam means there is nothing left to ride up or bunch. This left us with a “cheeky” design intended for commuters and light chamois lovers alike.

  • Tri-pad intended for light use, hot days, or short rides (as in perfect for commuting)
  • Bonded waist for a soft, next-to-skin finish
  • Scalloped edge adds playful elegance to a technical garment

Buttery soft nylon/spandex fabric provides durability and compression for supportive comfort.

  • OEKO-TEX 100 Certified Fabric
  • PFAS and PFC-Free

Perfect for DH and Shorter XC Rides

I ride both XC and DH, and these Hipster Chams are perfect for long days in the park or quick XC rides. For DH, they offer just the right amount of padding to stay comfortable while I’m in the saddle. For XC, they’re great for shorter rides, though I’d want more cushioning for long endurance days. I do think the crotch could be trimmed a bit narrower to reduce groin rub. Overall, I’m stoked I bought two pairs—the sizing is true to fit!

    Mixed Results

I love the think Chamois and the seamlessness of the brief and I have had a few good rides with it. On the other hand, maybe because I was right between a M/L and went for a large, the chamois maybe doesn't fit as snugly as it should. It doesn't feel loose, but on a few rides, I ended up getting cut up by the edge of the chamois itself, which seems to curl up slightly and dug into my inner thigh. Debating getting a M to see if this still happens, but that's a pricey experiment. I'd advise going with your regular size on these, not the chart.

    Blisters!!!

They are comfortable. Yes, they were described as a chamois for short rides. After my experience, my view of a short ride is very different than Shredly. I went out on a moderate singletrack ride for a cumulative time of 2 hours ( including breaks). I rode out with massive blisters on my sits bones. It took me a week to be saddle ready again. For reference, I have been riding for 25 years and was looking to up my soft gear game. Thinking I had missed out on the hipster chamois scene, I opted in Huge mistake.
