Size/Fit Guidance
- Compression fit, if you do not prefer a tight fit we recommend ordering one size up!
Kaili H.
I normally wear anywhere from size 6 to size 10 depending on brand. Love the fit of these shorts. So comfy. I’m 5’ 5’’ and 140lbs. Snug on the waistline but not overly so.
Alexandra G.
The shorts are very comfortable and work pretty well. If you ride a hardtail, you may want more of a cushion though!
Courtney N.
These do not fit similar to the scalloped chamois. They do not stretch as much and the bulk of the chamois feels different. I can wear a medium and a large in the scalloped chamois with large sticking out at the waist and medium being snug all over with perfect amount of stretch to still be comfortable. I purchased medium and they didn’t have much give and were too snug. Had to return.
Gillian S.
I wanted to like these but they were just a little too tight and made me feel like a sausage. I had to return:(
Karen C.
I read some reviews that stated the yoga Cham ran a little small - I normally wear a small, but ordered a medium, which is perfect.
Michelle S.
These are super comfy and fit great under my Shredly shorts. The fabric is nice a cool, so you don't get hot layering them with shorts. I purchased a medium and wear them under size 8 shorts. I'm about 150 lbs. and 5'9".
Lynne H.
The wide leg bands don't ride up or pinch, problems I have experienced with other brands/designs. Thank you!
Jaime O.
I am so bummed because these are so expensive. I had purchased a pair of shorts and chamy in the past and I loved them and I went to purchase another pair of chammys and thought this would be the same and it is most definitely not. The pad is sewed in to where it’s almost touching the waist band in the front. How on earth is one to wear these? It’s supposed to pad your bits and your sit bones, not your belly. I unfortunately didn’t notice this until after I had washed them assuming they would be the same awesome product. It’s like when the sizing which was extended (thank you so much for offering bigger sizes!) the padding material stayed in the same place as an XS. Which does not obviously work. Super bummed.
Ellen M.
I bought one of each type of your three chamois. The Yogacham was fairly comfortable while riding but not so much when walking around. It's not nearly as comfortable as the Bike Cham I bought last year which is always super comfortable on. The Hipster Cham was not comfortable at all - perhaps I purchased a size too large. I'd highly recommend the Bike Cham.
Nancy W.
I prefer to wear lycra but on occasion I wear baggy mtb shorts. I can get away without a liner but would prefer something other than underwear. I'm also old school so I don't need 1/2-inch of padding or a pad so big it looks and feels like a chair cushion. So the Yogacham's padding is small although a little thicker than I like but not as thick as regular shorts. I like the yoga waist since I really don't want two waist bands (shorts and liner) digging into my waist. The inseam is short - shorter than I like and I was afraid they would ride up. I tugged at them a couple of times because I'm not used to the shorter inseam so they felt like they were riding up but they weren't. I am 5-ft tall and weigh 95 lbs and purchased XS.
Christina B.
I really love this shammy. I've used mine for 3+ years mountain biking and it's held up really well. If you have a short torso like me (ie: high rise waist basically comes up to your bra line...slight exaggeration but not much) these are perfect. They have more of a mid-rise and these are the ONLY pair of shammy's that I have that dont roll down. Very forgiving on the thigh muffin top and the legs stay down well. Also the padding material is very soft and is the kindest on my lady-bits. I choose it over bibs for long (85+ kms) gravel rides.
Sharie H.
These are super comfy. Theyre a little large but the comfort level is unreal. Highly recommend.
Sheila G.
OK so these have been my FAVORITE go to for years I LOVE the older style and have invested in 4 pairs over the years. Misses are as follows; lower front now hits me a full two inches lower than olders ones thus creating a fat bloop insted of holding my waist in place which is very uncomfortable - second miss is I wear these in a size 6, all of my shredleys are a size six now I have to figure out what size small or medium I wear in these? I got these for Christmas and not sure I love or want to keep them but have missed the 30 day return window.... :-(
Amy B.
Comfortable and fit well!
Andrea F.
Really had wanted the Yoga cham with the lace. Was waiting for that but doesn't seem like you are making it anymore sadly. May I ask Why?
Briana V.
Bought a pair of yoga chams years ago. Wore bibs the past few years then circled back to the much loved yoga chams. Honestly, the BEST option for wearing under shorts or pants. Well designed, amazing, comfortable fit. My go-to!
Mercedes B.
These are my go to cham! I have several pair. They are by far the most comfortable chamois. The padding isn't too thick or too thin...it's just right. A real Goldilocks and the Three Bears find. ;) They also breath well under my shorts so I don't feel too hot when riding. For reference I wear a small and I am 5'5/118 lbs. Please don't change or get rid of these!
DeDe D.
Comfy, great flexibility, legs don't ride up and the padding is perfect!
Tonya W.
I love the Chamois! I haven't worn it yet with the Shredly shorts as it has been too cold and have needed long leggings, but they have worked great under those!
Ken G.
I got these for my wife, who insisted that her 10 yr old chamois shorts were just fine and she didn’t need to spend money on a new one. Her birthday was coming up do I purchased these as a gift for her just before going on a 3-day mountain biking trip. Long story short, she absolutely LOVES the Yogacham. It fits perfectly, is light, and has just the right amount of stretchiness, and padding. She promptly threw away her old one and I’m sure will be ordering another Yogacham before next season. Thanks Shredly for making me seem like a hero for picking this out for her!
Jennifer L.
These fit great
Berta G.
I love the Shredly products. I have used the chamois and shorts for over 8 years. Durable fabric, fun designs. Love love them.
Allison S.
I like my liners to have more padding. These are very nice if you like minimum padding.
Lisa H.
I always wanted to try these padded bike shorts. They exceeded my expectations. I might have to order some more. So comfortable and cool for living in Fl.
Leah C.
Very comfortable, padding in the right places, doesn't dig into my waist or thighs. I finally feel cool in bike shorts (big statement for me!). I swear they actually make me like mountain biking more!
Tracy S.
These are great! Long term fan of the LaceCham but when both of my pairs wore out I tried these. Super comfy, dry really fast, and I don’t feel naked in the parking lot when I take the baggies off.
Annie S.
Huge increase in comfort in the saddle. I was apprehensive because I REALLY dislike tight fitting clothing especially at the waist. This was so good. I am embarrassed to admit the Yogacham stayed in its packaging for several rides because I was dreading the waist pinch....All for naught. super comfy. Minor bulkiness off the bike. Perfect under the MTB short.
Sommer S.
I have some other chamois but this is my absolute favorite! I forget I have it on it's so comfy!
Pam D.
Love the fit and the fun butterfly pattern. Also love that the shorts cover the top part of my knee pads.
Tara T.
Love that the bottom of the legs don’t have the rubber elastic on them. These are sooo comfortable!
Sarah H.
A little bit more compression than i'm used to but i do prefer it. didn't have to readjust at all during an all day enduro race, and felt like i was getting enough airflow during the day - no saddlesores or anything! wish i had a few more of the same pair!
Lisa W.
Super comfortable and the chamois holds up on even several hour long rides.
Edelita V.
Huge improvement over my previous liners! Wore these under my favorite MTB shorts and they kept me comfy through a ~6hr event!
I do wish I went with my typical sizing since I'm used to a compression fit, but was a little unsure as some reviews at the time mentioned tightness and going up a size.
Despite being a little less snug, there were no issues with extra fabric rubbing/slipping/ect. so it's all good.
Dani R.
These are thicker, longer, and stiffer than I would like. They are almost like wearing road bike shorts. They also run SUPER tight. I wear a 0 in the regular MTB shorts but I had to get a size 4 in the yogacham. The size 4 is a little loose around the waist but the size 2 were way too tight for me. I don't hate them but they're not my first chamois choice.
Dinamarie S.
These have just the right amount of cushion without being bulky.
Bonnie W.
Got the XXL based on measurement chart. Sizing is smaller than advertised, most clothing XL fits me but this is quite tight. Padding seemed thinner than I expected as well. Overall I'm not sure it's making much of a difference for me yet.
Berta G.
Love your excellent customer service. Awesome products that I have been wearing for over 10 years.
Barbara S.
These are GREAT to wear under my favorite light weight tights. Or under my favorite shorts ! I much prefer them to bike shorts/tights because they go under any of my favorites and I don’t even know they are there. So very comfortable and great padding if riding distances !
Beth M.
Snug fit but comfortable on the trail.
Sharon S.
Love these!!!!! Not too tall in front, nice and cool and fit great!
Jessica P.
I like this liner because it doesn’t feel bulky under my cycling shorts and I live the lower waistband. The only thing I’m not crazy about is that the waist is just a tad loose, but that’s a common prob for me. For reference I’m 5’5” 150# with a bootie and thighs but small waist.
Michele O.
My ride time was being shortened because saddle pressure was resulting in sore lady parts, especially on flowy trails where I stop less frequently to rest. I decided to try yogachams and while hopeful, I didn't expect to LOVE them. Yesterday was my longest ride yet with fewest breaks. I was never aware of my "biscuit bumpers". Yogachams are made of super breathable fabric and the style design means they stay in place, no digging in or riding up. As for the padding....well, I'm ready for another epic drop in this morning.
Kaili H.
