What size am I?
We find that our shorts run pretty true to size. Please consider the size that you normally wear in your favorite pair of jeans and order accordingly. Note that our size chart is simply a guide and the measurements refer to your body, not the specs of the clothing. If you are usually a size 6 and the size chart leads you astray, we recommend you still go with a size 6.

Love all my Shredly shorts. I like the zipper over the black waist band. I use my shorts for hiking and have a few pairs that are over 10 years old and still look perfect!

I am a long-time Shredly wearer. Wore a sz 12 ten years ago (and a 10 in reg. pants), and have blossomed to a 14. I have an 11" All Time pair from last year in Blooming Stripes sz 14 and they are great so I went for the Margie when they were on sale. But the Margie print is cut on a slightly older style (?) with a snap thigh pocket on the right side, which I didn't notice. Loved em, but the rise was shorter and they fit too snug to pack a chamois in. So I exchanged (excellent cust. service) for a size 16 Margie. Perfect. Love the waistband. Who cares what the size tag says, right??? All are excellent daily/hiking shorts too. I am longing for the super-cool, less floral, more bad-ass patterns of yore like Ashley, Nikoli and Joy. Hoping they come back!! :)
