Squamish, British Columbia, Canada
Jen hails from the outdoor playground of Squamish, BC. For the past 12 years she has been competing professionally in adventure racing, ultra running and mountain biking. Throw in copious amounts of time spent on stand up paddle boarding expeditions, skiing and road cycling and there has been little time for sitting still.
Feeling already like the luckiest person in the world, Jen is a mom to an adventurous little boy who has already traveled the globe with her at the young age of 1.5. With a newly renovated Sprinter van to live in, the family will spend most of the year ahead on the road exploring, racing and tackling various endurance projects.
Combing her passion for athletics and competition, Jen is an endurance coach to athletes around the world. She owns a high performance training facility in Squamish and rounds out a busy schedule with trail running camps and joining her athletes at their races. Jen has obtained her dream job and can’t think of anything else that she’d rather be doing then helping other people achieve their own goals!
What is your favorite thing to do in SHREDLY that is not on two wheels? How many days a year do you think you wear your SHREDLY?
SHREDLYs are a key part of my daily training and most adventures!
What is your favorite pattern?
I love the AMANDAs but am stoked to bring some pink onto the trail and start playing in the DAWNs this year.
What is your all-time favorite trail to ride?
A climb to Red Heather Hut in the high alpine on a summer evening and descending by headlamp ranks is one of my favorite local trails in the Squamish area.
What do you think the secret to happiness is?
Loving what you do everyday. Life is too short to spend time with a low stoke factor. I encourage everyone to get out there and tackle life, making each day count.
