SHREDLY + World Ride Trip to Lesotho

March 23 - April 1, 2023 | Lesotho,

In partnership with World Ride, this 10-day mountain bike trip is designed to showcase what beautiful Lesotho has to offer, opportunities to experience the region's bike culture, and connect with local women mountain bikers. On the trip you will get to explore the area's best trails with incredibly picturesque landscapes, diverse terrain, local history, and experience the first Pump for Peace pump track.

A portion of your trip fee will go to helping women in Lesotho build careers as MTB guides (there will be two guides-in-training on this trip); organizing weekly group rides for women in Lesotho; and helping build a bike library for women to "check-out" a bike and experience the sport.

What is World Ride?

World Ride trip to Nepal

We are very excited to partner with World Ride to offer this opportunity to visit Lesotho! World Ride is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that works to empower women globally through mountain biking. They have established programs around the world where they work with local women to create bike libraries, assist women with leadership and guide training, and support women with their race goals.

As part of World Ride's mission to support the empowerment of women globally through growing women's mountain biking in Nepal, Guatemala, Peru and Lesotho, a portion of this trip will go to MTB guide career development for women in Lesotho along with creating a bike library and the organization of group rides.

World Ride Director and Founder Julie Cornelius and SHREDLY Founder and Owner Ashley Rankin will both be joining the trip. This once-in-a-lifetime experience will help provide the opportunity for women in Lesotho to experience the sport of mountain biking!
