These shorts are the best bike/hike/around town shorts ever! I love the solid black color, they go with absolutely every top that I own. And they fit great! My figure is pretty boyish, and the waist adjusts just enough for a custom fit. For reference, I wear a size 6, and I am 5'8" and 140 lb. I like that I don't need a belt or elastic around my waist. Cute and functional! Another winner from Shredly.

For the past 30 years 3/4 of my riding is done in the rain and mud, and even though my Shredly Mountain Bike shorts hold up wonderfully and launder even better, I wanted a solid black pair to hide the dirt stripe when I need to stop off at a store on the way home. These fit great! I ended up with a size 2 after trying a 6 and 4. The only negative is that there is not a zipper pocket for a car key. (Glad Black color was added to match some of my jerseys)

I have been buying Shredly since 2017, had been wearing a size 4 but oops now a size 6 with the elastic pulled in to the max. I love my shorts. I have given a few pairs away and have shared the Shredly site with so many friends. They are so comfortable and I love the the velcro is GONE!!! For all the Aussie's out there - I am a Size 8-10 and got a Size 4 in the MTB Short. They are bloody perfect! They hug in all the right places and the don't make my short legs look even more short. These are the best MTB Shorts that I have tried on. Great work girls! Love them.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I relied so heavily on them when trying to find a great pair of MTB shorts, and especially for help with sizing.
-First, I love that they are made in the USA. You can definitely see and feel the quality and thoughtfulness behind these.
-The fit is great, however I probably could have sized up. I’m 5’4”, 125, and usually wear a 26/27 in jeans/small in clothing. After much deliberation, I went with a 2 and they fit great! However, the hidden adjustable waist allows for flexibility (I don’t use it now because the fit is perfect)... but when I order my next pair, I’m going with a 4 for more give on the legs. But the 2s are great and fit a chamois just fine, especially if you don’t like such a baggy fit.
-I also love the side pocket for my phone, keys, or park tickets.
I won’t buy another brand now because Shredly is such quality for a great price :)
If you’re over-thinking trying them like I did... just do it! You won’t be disappointed!

I bought the Noir shirts for my wife, choosing the Noir because it had a tapered leg, one of only a couple of Shredly shorts that currently offer a tapered leg. She had tried a pair that had a normal mountain bike leg width and didn't like them. But she loved the Noir. So, happy with the purchase!

I didn't really like the elastic waist band because it felt a bit frumpy and I wasn't that wild about the outer material. I think the shorts might have been a bit big because I went up a size from my usual (because I went by the sizing chart).

Bought these on behalf of a friend. She is an in-between size like me and appreciated the inside drawstring to pull them in as she sized up for these. They fit great & look great. She is pleased with the pockets and that water bubbles and wicks away easily.

I'm 5'4 120lbs and the smalls fit just right. These hit me right above the knee. Not too tight and not too loose. Material is thicker than a light summer short but holds up great to rough trails. I would buy these again.

I have two pairs of the noir. the second pair that just came, feel a bit more snug so I don’t know if sizes are always consistent but I’m sure they will be fine and love the first pair that I wear quite a bit.

I’m 5”0 and weigh 110 lbs. The struggle has been real to find shorts that fit around the waist and aren’t too long. These are heaven! They got perfectly and have an adjustable waist tabs and are soooo comfortable! Love love love!

These run very large. I ordered a size 0 and have to cinch them to the point of bunching up. They are not as short as I had thought, come to mid-lower thigh. They are comfortable and I love the pockets, but they are not make for women with smaller waists.

A little disappointed in the quality of the new colors. I LOVE my previous four pairs of Shredly MTB shorts. I thought for sure I would also love a pair of the Noir MTB shorts. Unfortunately, the fabric has a weird smell that wouldn't come out after multiple washings. Also, the shorts used to have an embroidered logo and the new shorts don't have that. I wish I could say I love them as much as my older Shredly shorts, but that just is not the case.

Too big in waist and perfect fit at hips.....meant back gap when bending forward to reach handlebars. Ordered size 6. 5’5”, 130# with an athletic build. Returned for the stretch top version of these in sz 4, and they are a dream come true.

Big fan of this Brand. Only short I wear MTB. Was so stoked to finally have a solid black color way because sometimes you just wanna run all black! I’m 5’3, and 125 and size 4 was pretty true. I do cinch up the sides still so pending if you want a more snug fit I could have maybe worn a sz 2. Thanks Shredly. Love the gear.

Functional shorts. I'm a new biker so I didn't want anything too flashy, but in hindsight the black shorts are a little bit boring. I didn't look when I purchased so I didn't realize that they don't have the same gemstone buttons as the flashier patterns....but that's my bad for not looking more closely at the pics. As far as sizing, the sizing between the chamoix and the shorts are WAY different. I'm 5'8" and 130 lbs. and ordered both the chamoix and shorts in a size 4. The chamoix's quite snug, while the shorts are really baggy and big on me. The waist of the shorts is adjustable and that's a nice feature, but I had to take the internal elastic waist adjuster band thingy in by 5 button holes on each side, so while the shorts fit and are comfy for riding, the main waistband of the shorts doesn't even touch my body and sticks out about an inch from my body on both sides. If you have a child and are familiar with the internal adjustable elastic band you'll understand what I'm saying, hopefully! The moral of my story is to size down in the shorts. :)

Love these Shredly shorts so much I Had to have the Noir as well! (SHREDLY is never borring, even in basic black) I felt the fit was slightly bigger than my previously owned Shredlys so I exchanged then for the next size smaller.
